From NYFW Runway to Winning "Best Streetwear Collection"

When you take a collection to New York Fashion Week, you aren't just showing clothes—you're bringing your entire universe, history, and community onto a global stage.

Back in September 2025, we had the honor of stepping onto the runway at Sony Hall during Runway 7’s New York Fashion Week showcase. We debuted a curated capsule of 7 looks built around our core design ethos: taking the nostalgia, oversized silhouettes, and effortless attitude of late '90s and early 2000s hip-hop and R&B, and elevating them into modern luxury streetwear.

Fast forward to September 2026: that exact same collection was nominated for Best Streetwear Collection at the inaugural Runway 7 Awards—and we brought the award home.

7 Looks, 90s Nostalgia

Showing at NYFW alongside an incredible international roster of designers was a defining step for us. We wanted every single garment on that runway to feel like a living art piece.

The 7 looks we brought to New York were grounded in the era that shaped us. From graphic textures paying homage to Black cultural icons to the slouchy, deliberate tailoring inspired by classic R&B videos, the collection stood out on the runway as a love letter to the era's aesthetic.

Full Circle Moment - The Inaugural Runway 7 Awards

Winning Best Streetwear Collection at the 2026 Runway 7 Awards was a humbled, full-circle moment for our entire team. Being recognized on a platform like NYFW—surrounded by global tastemakers and featured across outlets like Fashion Week Online and Resident—validates the core vision we’ve held since day one: Black stories, culture, and heritage deserve space on fashion's highest stages.
